A night attendant for your patient's hospital stay in Patna
Days in the ward bring doctors' rounds and visitors; nights are long, and the relative sitting up is worn out by the third one. A police-verified Bee takes the night shift: sits beside your patient, helps with water and the washroom, and fetches the duty nurse when something medical comes up, so the family can sleep at home.

What the night Bee does
- Reaches the hospital at the time you booked; the shift is counted from the Bee's arrival there
- Takes over from the family member: the patient's routine, what must not be given, and where the night nurse sits
- Stays beside the patient through the night: company, a glass of water, a steady arm to the washroom
- Goes for the night nurse whenever something medical comes up, such as pain or discomfort
- Phones the family number you left whenever the ward staff ask for the family
- Hands over to the family or the day Bee in the morning; the End PIN closes the shift
The night Bee is not a nurse and does no nursing: no injections, drips, dressings or medicines. Short breaks are part of a night shift, so do not expect twelve hours without a pause.
What it costs
Prices before GST; 18% GST is added on the bill. The clock starts with the Start PIN, when the Bee reaches the hospital, and stops with the End PIN. A plan is a night plan when 3 or more of its hours fall between 10 PM and 6 AM. A Bee arrival fee of ₹0–99, by distance, is confirmed when your Bee is assigned and has no GST. Every plan price is shown in the Trusbee app before you confirm.
Families who book a night attendant
- A son who sits with his father at Paras HMRI all day and has to sleep before work the next morning
- A mother recovering after an operation at Ruban, whose only relative in Patna is her elderly husband
- A long stay at AIIMS Patna, where the family books one Bee for the 12-hour day and another for the night
- Children working outside Bihar who cannot be there for every night of a parent's admission at NMCH
Good to know before the first night
- Arrange a chair or stool for the Bee in the room
- Tell the Bee where the night nurse sits and walk through the patient's routine
- Keep one family number switched on and reachable all night
- The Bee takes short breaks; do not expect a whole night awake without rest
- Nursing duties stay with the hospital's nurses, not the Bee
- Check the Bee's photo ID at the ward, give no cash, cards or OTPs, and pay Trusbee by UPI after the shift
What counts as a night plan?
A plan is a night plan when 3 or more of its hours fall between 10 PM and 6 AM. An 8 PM to 8 AM shift, for example, is a 12-hour night plan; its price is in the Trusbee app.
Can someone be with the patient for the full 24 hours?
Yes. The 24-hour Full Day Care plan uses two Bees, one for the 12-hour day and one for the 12-hour night, so no single Bee works round the clock.
Can a female Bee stay the night with my mother?
Female Bees are available from 9 AM to 6 PM only, so we cannot send one for a night shift. Please plan the night with that in mind before you book.
Will the hospital let a Bee stay at night?
Each hospital decides how many attendants may stay in a ward at night and what pass they need, so ask at admission. The Bee comes in uniform with a photo ID for the ward desk.
