Discharge day can stretch on: the summary, the reports, the medicines for home, and a weak patient who still has to get there. Clear the hospital bill, then a police-verified Bee meets your patient in the ward, gathers everything that has to come home and goes with them to the end location you chose, usually home.

What the Bee does on discharge day
- Meets your patient in the ward or room; billing starts at that meeting, not when the Bee sets out
- Follows the discharge papers from desk to desk until the discharge summary is in hand
- Collects the reports and the X-ray or scan films that have to go home
- Picks up the medicines for home against the list, once the family has paid for them
- Helps your patient out of the ward, in a wheelchair if you asked for one, and into the vehicle
- Travels with your patient to the end location and hands over the papers there; the End PIN closes the visit
The Bee does not pay or settle the hospital bill and does not collect insurance claim money. The Bee is not medical staff and gives no medicines, injections or dressings at home.
What it costs
Prices before GST; 18% GST is added on the bill. The clock starts with the Start PIN, when the Bee meets the patient at the hospital, and stops with the End PIN. A Bee arrival fee of ₹0–99, by distance, is confirmed when your Bee is assigned and has no GST. Every plan price is shown in the Trusbee app before you confirm.

Before discharge day
- Clear the hospital bill before the Bee arrives; the Bee does not pay or settle it
- Keep the list of medicines for home, and any discharge papers you already have, ready for the Bee
- Tell the Bee beforehand if your patient needs a wheelchair or a vehicle for the journey
- Insurance claim money is collected by the family, never by the Bee
- Check the Bee's photo ID when you meet in the ward
- Give the Bee no cash, cards or OTPs; you pay Trusbee by UPI once your patient is home
Does Trusbee send a vehicle to bring the patient home?
Hospital Assist books the Bee, not a vehicle. If you want a driver for your own car, book Driver Assist too, and tell the Bee beforehand how your patient will travel.
What will discharge help cost?
₹219 an hour before 18% GST, counted from the Start PIN in the ward to the End PIN at the end location. Because the visit ends away from where it began, a ₹49 return fee is added, along with a Bee arrival fee of ₹0–99 by distance.
Can the Bee pay the final bill or collect the insurance money for us?
No. Clear the bill yourself before the Bee arrives, and keep insurance claim money with the family. The Bee makes no payments of any kind.
Can the Bee stay at home with my father after discharge?
